The Holy Spirit’s Deep

The River flows wide and the river flows deep
In it you will find treasures to reap
Hidden treasures are found in God’s deep
To go deeper you will have to seek
It is the Holy Spirit who searches
the deeper things of our Lord
There are deep things that are hidden
the Holy Spirit reveals to the poor
Those spiritually poor, with contrite hearts
that know they need to be fed
They acknowledge that they can’t
do it themselves and need to be led…
